This half-day workshop is for school administrators and grounds managers.
In-depth training on how to begin practicing sustainable less toxic landscaping on your school grounds.
Attending will allow you to: 1. Address the environmental and health impacts of conventional landscaping; 2. Explore how to grow resilient landscapes with the use of organic fertilizers, native plants,compost,compost teas and natural pest controls while reducing your pesticide use; and 3. Make the argument for the adoption of sustainable practices versus conventional based on cost effectiveness, health impacts,and water quality preservation.
