Our opening February double feature offers two sharp portrayals of the more discordant details of the music business, where money men call the tune and the rest of us sing the blues.
First, a very young Harvey Keitel is a hot-shot producer caught between soulful sincerity and mob mediocrity as he works his studio magic for Earth Wind & Fire in THAT'S THE WAY OF THE WORLD, from SUPERFLY producer Sig Shore!
Then, Pat Healy and Kene Holliday tour the South looking for big dreamers with bigger checkbooks ready to sell their soul for a song in Craig Zobel's GREAT WORLD OF SOUND. Healy will be appearing IN PERSON Wednesday the 26th to talk about the real-life drama involved in the making of this film!
