Slated for its stateside release in Mar, Amy Speace's second album, The Killer In Me, has already hit #5 in the European Americana Charts and has been selected as a finalist in the international Independent Music Awards.
It would seem that WFUV, the premiere American folk radio station, was right on track when they named Amy among their "Top 16 To Watch" in 2008. Her arresting voice combines the best of Lucinda Williams with Roseanne Cash on a collection of original, dark, soulful alt-country gems steeped in 21st century hipness.
Her band, The Tearjerks, back her up on lead guitar, bass and percussion. This is a don't-miss artist!
