Mike Hess Brewing & Miho Gastrotruck Beer Dinner
Join us for a evening of great beer and great food as we team up with Miho Gastrotruck's chefs to bring you five thoughtful courses, pairing 5 beers with 5 dishes.
Though prepared on MIHO's mobile kitchen, guests will be served by Hess staff and enjoy all the comforts of traditional "restaurant-style" dining. No paper plates will be used in the course of the evening!!
Guests will join us at 6 PM with a glass of beer, seating at 6:30.
The Plated Courses begin at 6:45 and include:
Oyster and cauliflower chowder with vanilla kumquats
paired with Dryadalis, Belgian-inspired Pale
Local spinach salad with pickled hon shimeji, dried fruit and point reyes blue "crouton", fig balsamic vinaigrette
paired with Ficus, Dark Fig Saison
Goat cheese and butternut squash risotto with pickled winter veggies and roasted honey reduction
paired with Jucundus, Orange Honey Wheat
Braised grass fed beef with roasted mushrooms and celery root-potato pureé
paired with Ordeum Rex
Rye banana bread, caramelized bananas, clove ice cream and "sour" caramel sauce
paired with Restauro, Rye Weizen
Guests are welcome to stay afterwards and hang out, or head out - dinner should be wrapped up by 8:30. We will be closed to the public during the event!
