Dalai Lama Renaissance

Red Vic Movie House
San Francisco, CA

At the edge of the Millennium, The Dalai Lama invited 40 of the West's leading, most innovative thinkers in their respective fields to his residence in the Himalayan Mountains. The idea was to address the most crucial problems facing the world by creating solutions from a synthesis of their varied disciplines. Artists, scholars, physicists, astronomers, business leaders, doctors and authors, all longing to meet and speak directly with the Dalai Lama, made the chaotic journey through India to reach the Dalai Lama's home in Dharamsala. What transpired during the weeklong meeting and exploration of the future of mankind was surprising and powerful. Featuring Amit Goswami (from What the Bleep Do We Know), Dr. Michael Beckwith (from The Secret), as well as many award-winning, internationally known leaders in an array of diverse fields. Narrated by Harrison Ford.

Note: Producer-Director Khashyar Darvich will be present for Q&A after most of the screenings.
