Ashley Pond is one of the Capital Districts most acclaimed young singer-songwriters. Named as Metroland Magazines Best New Solo Artist in 2007, Ashleys was the subject of a follow-up cover story that introduced her to more than 100,000 readers. Her purring and wailing vocals and intricate fretwork casts out and reels in recounted life experience. "Brimming over with moody mystery, singer-songwriter Pond's glistening debut mixes folk, blues and rock. Captivating stuff."
