Heritage Food and Orfila Wine Tasting
Heritage Foods USA, which supports small family farms and genetic food diversity, is dropping off two wattle pigs to start the first staellite of this severely endangered breed. They will raised by foster teens at the San Pasqual Academy on the sustainable farm which Slow Food San Diego Helped start with dollars raised by last year's annual event.
Meet Patrick Martin, founder of Heritage and former President of Slow Food USA, at an Orfil wine and Heritage Food Tasting. Appetizers will be prepared by Chef Jeff Jackson of the Lodge at Torrey Pines. This is a great cause and a fun event. Come Hungry!
