River Region Ballet's "Peter and the Wolf" and "World Showcase"

River Region Ballet's Spring Performance.

A new production of "Peter and the Wolf", the classic tale which has introduced multitudes to classical music,the instruments of the orchestra and dance. Unique colorful costumes and sets only enhance the viewers' experience as this tale unfolds using three art mediums: the spoken word, music, and dance. Don't miss this delightful production.

In conjunction with Peter and Wolf, RRB will also take you on a journey of dance from around the world in "World Showcase". RRB dancers will be joined by guest artists Micaela y Fiesta Flamenca and the McTeggart Irish Dancers. The performers will showcase dance from Arabia, Ireland, China, Spain, and France.

River Region Ballet will also present a Children's Matinee of only "Peter and the Wolf". This matinee is followed by a meet and greet with all the characters. Children are invited on the stage to talk to and take pictures with the performers. Each child will receive parting gift to remember this exciting production. You won't want to miss this special event!
