2014 Indicators Launch & Lunch - Transportation: The First Mile
Join us for the first update of 2014! We will introduce our new format, cover highlights of local indicators updated since last spring, and feature a keynote presentation on transportation from San Mateo County Supervisor and MTC Commissioner Adrienne Tissier.
This is a free event but space is limited, please register here.
The Indicators Report, now entering its 18th consecutive year, is one of the longest reports of its kind in the country. As with anything that has been around for so long, continued innovation and change are key to maintaining its relevance and value. So starting in 2014, the Report is going 100% online and will offer updates three times a year. In addition to more in-depth and timely local information on the 3Es of sustainability economy, environment and equity - you will have easier access to additional resources, links, and local initiatives.
We have again selected a key indicator that carries particular significance to our cities, the county and region - Transportation - which we will report on in more depth throughout the year. Stay tuned for other events in the series: in June we'll present findings from our City and County surveys, and in the fall we'll look towards the future and discuss solutions for a sustainable transportation system.
