Visitors from all over the US and all over the world - not to mention the music savvy population of the Pacific Northwest - are familiar with Motown and the music of the 1960's.
Between 1961 and 1971 Motown Records delivered 110 top ten hits, 28 of those hits went to #1 on the Billboard charts. Today, Motown is Legend - and it's repertoire includes some of the best known songs and artists in music history in world music history. The Ernest Pumphrey Revue presents this history.
Ernest Pumphrey, Sr., Founder Director
A native Seattleite, Ernest is a performer, as well as, choreographer, coach, dance instructor, director and producer. He has choreographed and produced fashion shows, beauty pageants, music groups and stage productions, including dinner shows with the 42-piece Paramount Performing Orchestra at Seattle's Music Hall Theater, with Broadway and TV star Ben Vereen.
