The Improvatorium Players have performed costumed improvised full length plays in styles ranging from Roman Epic and Alfred Hitchcock to a Zombie Musical and The Old Testament. "The Picture" pits the cast of talented improvisers against the task of not only creating an original play based on audience suggestions and set in Hollywood of the 1920's, but also the task of actually creating a short subject silent film on stage. The play will be performed in two acts and though length will vary, the show should last approximately one hour and 25 minutes including a fifteen minute intermission.
The ensemble will be drawn from members of The Improvatorium Company.
