Hoda uses the finest organic ingredients from local farms such as their 100% natural grass fed beef grown in Oregon.  Enjoy a glass of Pinot Noir from Coleman Winery, a family owned winery located in McMinville Oregon.  For dessert try the Nights of Lebanon, house white cream with fresh Kiwi, strawberry and blueberries plus almonds and walnuts topped with orange blossom water.Hoda Khouri's penchant for creating delicious Lebanese comfort food began at an early age. Hoda spent her hours in the kitchen at home, honing her own favorite recipes of the food she grew up eating with her family: Humos bi-tahini, baba ghanouje, shawarma, maanek.

So it was with these recipes for classic Lebanese comfort food that Hoda and her husband Hani opened their own place in March of 1999. With beliefs in the highest quality ingredients, meals made fresh daily from scratch and an atmosphere that is both comfortable and jovial, Hoda and Hani have dedicated their lives to their corner of 34th and Belmont Street.

It's no wonder that their restaurant bustles: everything from Hoda and Hani's warm welcome at the door to the piping pita fresh from the oven to the delicious and festive family-style platters encourages you to feel at home and enjoy eating with others. Their spices and their portions are authentic and generous, their eggplants are hand-roasted, their tender lamb hails from New Zealand and their menu uses only the purest olive and vegetable oils.

Hoda's 100% grass-fed beef comes from local Lonely Lane Farm. Learn more at www.Hodas.com. Feel free to call Hoda personally for more information at 503-307-0333.

Hi, my name is Sue Lewis, violinist and bandleader of the Portland band Mango Nights.  I've been a fan of Hoda's Middle Eastern Cuisine for quite some time.  After Hoda and her husband Hani learned that my band performs Middle Eastern music and dance as part of our show, we came up with the idea of combining our talents with food, music and dance for this special event at Hoda's restaurant. Last years event was so popular we decided to make an annual event of it!

Now meet the amazing musicians of Mango Nights.  See video of last years performance at MangoNights.com.
