The Flight From Cancer Benefit
What is the "Flight From Cancer Benefit"?
The Flight From Cancer Benefit grew from the minds of Lina Maki and Fabienne Vigil as they debated what to do for a senior high school project. The first concept was a simple art show, but the industrious and altruistic teens realized that was a little too easy and that more could be done.
Knowing the financial struggles of Fabienne's family due to her mother's prolonged battle with ovarian cancer, they decided that a fundraiser was in order to help defer some of their plentiful debts. They took the idea to Vinita (Fabienne's mom), who, while she liked the idea, thought it should be something even bigger, hence Impermanency.org was born.
So now the first project of Impermanency is the senior class project, The "Flight From Cancer Benefit" project.
