The second feature film collaboration between filmmaker Mina Shum and actor Sandra Oh (their first being DOUBLE HAPPINESS) is set amidst a bustling Chinese Canadian community, several of whom are grappling with fate and destiny. Oh plays Kin, a divorced mother raising her 12-year-old daughter Mindy (Valerie Tian). Mindy sets her sights on using Chinese magic to find her mom a new boyfriend, but her efforts refuse to go as planned.
