Yo Miss! Teaching Inside the Cultural Divide By Judith Sloan
In this sometimes funny, sometimes sad, always truth-seeking performance, Sloan attempts to break down assumptions that divide teacher and student, student and student, and residents of a polyglot city who live in close proximity but come from conflicting worlds. Fusing the art of theatre and radio, Yo Miss is an eye- and ear-witness account of a teacher using all her heart to bridge cultural and generational divides.

The Show opens with a performance by Mahina Movement, a phenomenal 3 women trio who combine, poetry and song to create passionate music tied to flesh and bone, straight from the heart.
