CONCERT FOR LOVE benefits the Concert 4 Kids program of THE IRVING SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA
ACTION REQUIRED NOW and THE IRVING SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA join forces at the Latino Cultural Center on Saturday, February 15, 2014, to present CONCERT FOR LOVE, an exciting musical and educational event devoted to LOVE and benefiting the ISO's Concert 4 Kids program.

CONCERT FOR LOVE is lovingly presented by world fusion band ACTION REQUIRED NOW in conjunction with THE IRVING SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA, featuring a string ensemble from the Orchestra and benefiting the ISO's Concert 4 Kids program. CONCERT FOR LOVE highlights songs for LOVE and PEACE, as well as for other causes like environmental protection, organ donation, Alzheimer's, and stopping child abuse and domestic violence.
Concert 4 Kids CONCERT FOR LOVE benefits THE IRVING SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA's Concert 4 Kids program which has served more than 140,000 students in free performances over the last 25 years. Each year the ISO produces 4 free concerts designed to engage, educate and inspire every 5th and 7th grade student in the Irving Independent School District, representing more than 6,000 young hearts and minds. These songs are showcased at concerts and festivals to educate people on good causes, and inspire them to get involved. Be it peace, animals in danger of extinction, the environment, or the human condition. Causes need action. The power of TOGETHERNESS shifts hearts and minds into a culture of action.
THE IRVING SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA was founded in 1961, and is directed by Hector Guzmán, who holds degrees from the Conservatory in Mexico City, UNT, and SMU, and is the recipient of "For the Love of Art" Lifetime Achievement and "Man of the Year" Awards. The ISO contributes to the Metroplex artistically and through social responsibility, their Concert 4 Kids program a model for providing a classical foundation to kids, and for the arts giving back to the community.

AYINDE CASTRO (percussion) brings the beats of Cuba, Honduras, Martinique, and Brazil to make a difference through music, and through his six languages.
CHRIS PANICH (guitar) has been writing and performing in bands since he was 13. Metal gigs have taken him to the Ridglea and Lakewood Theaters, among others.
DAVID HOPSON (harmonica), the bugleboy at camp, played trumpet, guitar, piano, and after thirty years of award-winning Creative Direction, harmonica, for some good Chicago blues.
SOUL DYNASTY (vocals), the lead operatic sound and a member of the "Lab Singers" while at the Arts Magnet, was honored for the best song from the movie, "Uninvited Guest."
URIEL VAZQUEZ (guitar, composer), took 3rd in Yamaha's International Composition Competition at 10, toured for a decade as rocker in "Sentido Contrario," and founded ARN to inspire with music.
MATIAS CARRASCO (poet) discovered a link between art and business at a young age. He dipped into poetry and lyrics after moving from Mexico, writing a book while he heads up a company.
