LEAD

EXIT'S Stage Left
San Francisco, CA

In a dying world ruled by lesbians, where being straight is queer, lies a future when men are bred as pets.  Fauna, desperate to get pregnant but running out of time, wants to apply for the Insemination Lottery.  Instead Karla, not interested in having a baby, decides to appease her wife's maternal instinct by adopting a pet man named Rex.  Despite Fauna's protests this arrangement appears to have its advantages.  But when power is perverted for selfish gain the political becomes personal.
