Celtic Soul Retreat
Sacred Well, Secret Flame: Celebrate the Transformational Power of Celtic Wisdom
As springtime approaches, we long for the renewal that the season promises. Join St. Louis poet and psychotherapist Kimberly Schneider and Irish singing/songwriting brothers Owen and Moley Ó Súilleabháin for a day of joy-inducing music, transformational poetry, memorable stories and experiential exercises designed to ignite your soul. Come and draw from the wisdom of Saints Patrick and Bridget, pray the five directions and reconnect with wonder in a way that will expand your consciousness and change your life.
The brothers Ó Súilleabháin draw musically from a rich repertoire of Irish sacred song, Gregorian chant, and their own compositions. They moved to America to find an audience for their unique singing style and have since built an enthusiastic following for their workshops and retreats as well. They have collaborated with world leaders in politics, spiritual thought and the arts, including Irish president Michael D. Higgins, the late theologian and philosopher John O'Donohue, poet David Whyte, director Steven Spielberg and actor Russell Crowe, to name just a few.
Kimberly Schneider, M.Ed., J.D., LPC has studied, taught and written about Celtic spirituality for decades. She facilitates classes, retreats and ceremonies at sacred spaces in the U.S. and Ireland, helping modern seekers find fresh relevance in the wisdom of the ancient Celts. The author of Everything You Need Is Right Here: Five Steps to Manifesting Magic and Miracles and the spoken word CD Terrible Beauty: Poetry and Reflections for Precarious Times, Kimberly teaches Communication at Washington University and is a regular contributor to Great Day St. Louis television show and The Healthy Planet Magazine.
