Nick Drummond, the infectious songwriter and singer formerly of The Senate and Impossible Bird returns to Tim Noah Thumbnail Theater on January 25th with his new band featuring drummer extraordinaire Maurice Bailey.
Nick has been a touring songwriter for over 10 years, playing universities and music festivals along the west coast of the US and Canada. He has appeared on KCTS 9 TV in Seattle, has had multiple performances on Seattle radio stations, and has sold out some of Seattle's finest music venues. His music has been hailed as "Brilliant Dionysian music" by A Prairie Home Companion host Garrison Keillor, won "Album of the week" from Seattle Weekly, "Album of the month" from Seattle Met, and "Song of the week" from Jet City Stream.
Maurice Bailey is an accomplished drummer from Seattle whose skill and style transcends genre. Maurice has toured and played with the likes of Stevie Nicks, Kenny G, and Crosby, Stills and Nash, among many other top artists.
