Wrecks by Neil LaBute
Balagan Theatre Seattle, WA
Thur-Sat at 8PM, and each Sun. at 2PM
Each evening, Neil Labute's "Wrecks", his one person play based on Greek myths and tragedies, will be performed, along with some of the author's short-works--"Coax", "Union Square, "Love at Twenty", "Stand-Up", and "Falling in Like"-- all written in the last six years. This collection of Mr. Labute's work sheds light on the moral complexities of our individual and human condition, and looks trenchantly at how the movement between our own souls brightness and darkness keeps moving us down pathways that are sometimes, for the traveler, nearly impossible to understand. Written with his usual wit, tenderness, and iconaclastic urgency.
