Eat Your Way Through LA: South LA Tour
When you think about secret spots for food, you might think of "hole in the wall" places in the Valley or along Washington Boulevard in Culver City. We've done tours there, so we agree.
But there are "secret" spots hidden in plain sight in neighborhoods that most people don't visit, unless you live or work there. We want to celebrate the food of a community oft overlooked and sometimes stigmatized by sharing some great food, rich culture, and important history.
Join us as we travel south of the 10 Freeway starting in WestAdams and heading along the 110 corridor into Watts, West Adams, Chesterfield Square, Canterbury Knolls, and many other communities in South LA. We'll try food from local institutions, and some new-comers who have flavors to spare! This tour will give you a deeper understanding of our city's culture.
