The use of many doors and humor can be traced back to the early French farce comedies. This January, Unexpected Productions takes the door premise and amps it up with an improvised farce comedy.
We use improv to create unlikely, extravagant, and absurd situations, different characters, mistaken identity, verbal humor, and word play, and fast-paced stories. Door will open, close, open and you never know who is entering, but you know it is hilarious.
This show is characterized by physical humor, the use of deliberate absurdity or nonsense, and broadly stylized performances. Open the door starting January 1, 2014
Performing at the Black Box Theatre, Edmond Community College in Lynnwood.
