Extraordinary Rendition: Torture, Music, Frivolity - RHINOFEST 2014
Torture is as common today as during the Middle Ages. Prisoners at Guantanamo Bay have been held without charges for 12 years, although it was officially acknowledged that most "enemy combatants" were innocent. Even the USAa country founded on liberty and human rightsfinds it necessary to engage in the most primitive form of human abuse.
Extraordinary Rendition: Torture, Music, Frivolity is an absurdist black comedy that explores the apparatus of the brutality industry, a practice shunted to the background but nonetheless deemed necessary by the human race. Tortureperhaps fetishized and definitely institutionalizedis examined as part of our DNA.
