Warren Miller's "Ticket to Ride"
This January 4, celebrate the beginning of the greatest season of the year with Ticket To Ride, Warren Miller Entertainment's newest chapter in the chronicle of the legendary film series. Ticket To Ride explores the close relationship between humans and our vast natural environment, as the sports best skiers and snowboarders take an action-packed journey across the globe to shed light on the significance of being aware of your surroundings. Experience the immense energy of the world's most sought-after destinations and discover secrets of the lands with Warren Miller's 64th ski and snowboard film, Ticket to Ride.

Warren Miller's Ticket To Ride takes filmgoers on an exhilarating voyage to the top of the steepest peaks and to the depths of the freshest powder of Iceland's Troll Peninsula, The Fjords of Greenland, The Alaskan Tordirllos, Montana's Big Sky country and more. The trams and trains in Switzerland climb to Mt. Eiger, the fishing boats in Norway float to Alesund, and the helicopters in Valdez soar above avalanche debris, all making viewers motivated and excited to discover their Ticket To Ride. Once again, winter begins with Warren Miller and it's time to get your Ticket To Ride.

Jonny Moseley hosts Ticket to Ride, which showcases world-class athletes as diverse as the terrain, including world cup champions and Olympians, Seth Westcott and Ted Ligety, legendary ski mountaineers like Chris Davenport, and young freeskiers Coly West and Sean Pettit. Gretchen Bleiler hits the pipe in Aspen and proves that "girls can look like girls and still rip", Tyler Ceccanti and Josh Bibby smash snow ghosts in the backcountry of Montana and Colby West discovers his Ticket To Ride in the Mammoth Mountain terrain park.  The sports finest athletes are present in this film, and all of exemplify the courage, strength and willpower it takes to find the Ticket To Ride.

Once again, Warren Miller raises the bar with Ticket To Ride, offering filmgoers a magnitude of ski and snowboard action that can't be matched anywhere else. When asked about the film, director Max Bervy said, "The Flow State is a place where the impossible becomes possible  where time slows down and a perfect moment becomes attainable. This film reveals what it is like to be completely immersed in the presentcompletely immersed in the snow, in the mountains, and in the enjoyment of winter."

Tickets are $10.00 General Admission and can be purchased in advance online or at Curious Cup Bookstore, 5285 Carpinteria Avenue.

Ticket To Ride is presented in conjunction Carpinteria's "Snow Much To Do" event.  Everyone is invited to join the fun on January 4th when 10 tons of fresh snow and a skating rink will be in Downtown Carpinteria.
