Saffron and Spice, Indian Cooking on Whidbey Island
Ready to warm up this winter? Then please join us for our next group cooking class on the magic isle, which will take place in a beautiful, unique, and very special space just outside Langley, WA. In "Saffron and Spice" we'll show you the basics of making Indian inspired meals from scratch as well as simple cooking techniques for getting healthy, spice infused dishes on your table with ease. We'll discuss essential flavorings and spices, including what to buy, when to add them to the dish, and what medicinal benefits they hold. Influenced greatly by Nick's extensive travels around the subcontinent, these dishes are some of our personal favorites, we hope you'll join us and share them with your friends and family as well! Get all your cooking questions answered, learn how to maximize the nutrition in your food, and take home beautifully crafted recipe cards to add to your cooking collection. There will be food to taste, wine to sip, and new friends to meet in a festive atmosphere. This class will have a minimum of 8 participants and a maximum of 16. As always, all dishes will be 100% vegan, gluten-free, and soy-free. We make healthy cooking simple, fun, and delicious. Join us!
