Better Beer Society is pleased to announce that we are accepting enrollment for our upcoming spring semester of Better Beer Society University (BBSU)!
Classes will begin on March 5th, 2014 and the semester will run through May 21st (12 weeks).
Twin Cities campus is located at Republic (Seven Corners) 221 Cedar Ave in Mpls. Class will consist of two sessions to account for busy schedules. First session is at 6pm; a second session will be held at 7:30p.
Both sessions are one-hour long, and the guest(s) will be the same for each session.
Please be sure to select your preferred session.
BBSU is an educational beer school for both the beer enthusiast, as well as the novice.
Our goal is to educate students on all aspects of the beer industry, from brewery production, retail and distributing, understanding beer laws, to exploring the agricultural side of hop farming and malting.
We also teach you how to explore your palate, learn to taste properly, cook with beer, as well as create your own pairings.
Students are treated to some very exclusive and interesting beer styles each and every week. In addition, students will embark on a special field trip, as well as create a recipe & brew their own commemorative class beer.
In addition to the amazing local talent that joins us every week, we've been privileged to be joined by a few nationally recognized figures in the beer community, including:

Jack Van Antwerpen // Bosteels (Belgium)
We keep each semester fresh and exciting; students are able to learn from masters of the craft beer industry, all in a small, intimate setting.
For our returning BBSU students, we do our best to keep each semester different from the last. We may offer variations of previous semester classes, but we can assure you that there will always be something new for you, and you'll never experience the same class twice.
We highly encourage new students to enroll early for their preferred time slot, as space is extremely limited, and classes fill up very quickly.
