How The Crouch Stole Christmas
Crouch Comedy will present How The Crouch Stole Christmas, an evening of all new, original sketch comedy on Friday, December 13 at 7:30 p.m. in the Arcade Theater in the Lower Level of the Plankinton Arcade building in the Grand Avenue Mall (161 West Wisconsin Avenue). With more than a dozen new sketches in their arsenal, audiences can expect a full-length show of edgy (ugh, sorry - that word) and outlandish comedy with a timely holiday twist. Indulge the part of yourself that expects coal in your stocking this year, and share in an evening of laughs with How The Crouch Stole Christmas.
Milwaukee's own Crouch Comedy doesn't take comedy sitting down or standing up. The seven member sketch comedy ensemble writes and performs all their own material, drawing inspiration from a wide variety of influences and styles. Crouch made their debut in July 2013 as part of a sold out Comedy Arcade show, a kickoff event for the 2013 Milwaukee Comedy Festival that included stand-up, improv, and sketch comedy. Crouch's debut was called "hilarious" by the father of one of the group's writer/performers, and Milwaukee Comedy Festival Founder Matt Kemple described the show as "definitely [having] happened." (The entire thirty minute show can be viewed on Milwaukee Comedy's YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/milwaukeecomedy.)
Crouch Comedy is Laura Bialek, Bradley Colmerauer, Carly Malison, Evan Schroeder, Morgan Tremper, Jon Waldbauer, and Pami Zorko. How The Crouch Stole Christmas will include a special appearance by Joel Dresang, founding member of Crouch Comedy and all-around nice guy. This show contains some (im)mature content, so Crouch Comedy would recommend that potential audience members under the age of sixteen do something else instead.
