Fruit Trees "101": Basic Fruit Tree Care
Learn the basics of fruit tree planting, irrigation, fertility, pest management, and winter pruning with Orin Martin and Sky DeMuro of UCSC's Alan Chadwick Garden.
Online registration costs: $30 for general public, $20 for Friends of the Farm & Garden members, $5 for current UCSC students. Or pay at the door (cash or check only): $40 for general public, $30 for Friends of the Farm & Garden members, $5 for current UCSC students.

Please note that separate workshops focused on winter pruning will take place on February 1 (apples, pears, other pome fruits) and February 15 (stone fruits) at the UCSC Farm. Another Fruit Trees "101" session will be offered on January 18 at Sierra Azul Nursery and Gardens in Watsonville.
