Not On Our Watch: Responding to Sex Trafficking in Our Community
What has changed for the 300-500 children prostituted on any given night in King County? Over the past 2 years leaders in King County have collaborated and developed innovative programs to respond to victims and prevent future victims. Learn how leaders in criminal justice, social services, government, business, philanthropy, and survivors of prostitution have joined forces to implement effective programs that declare: Not on Our Watch. Panelists/speakers include: Seattle City Council Member Tim Burgess (moderator), Judge Barbara Mack, Seattle City Attorney Pete Holmes, Detective Brian Taylor, and representatives from the Organization for Prostitution Survivors, YouthCare, Businesses Ending Slavery and Trafficking (BEST), and the Center for Child and Youth Justice.
