Holiday Cocktails - The Low Octane Edition
Indulging over the holidays is a tradition many of us share, but you can leave the hangovers to the amateurs! We've created a bunch of holiday libations that are just a little naughty and very nice, then paired them to some very tasty bites - let us show you how so you can impress your own holiday guests!
Celebrate the holidays and help us ring in our latest of uniquely interactive food and beverage events as A-List Culinary Events joins Jimmy Carbone at Jimmy's No. 43. Join Chef Annette Tomei of VinEducation, professional food and beverage educator (formerly of The International Culinary Center), and special guests for demonstrations and tastings of two holiday cocktails and 2 holiday punches that use dry ciders, craft beers, sparkling and fortified wines, and some locally produced specialty cordials. We will then pair all four drinks to a variety of delicious bites and discuss the "why" of flavor dynamics - the key to great pairings.

The charming Jack Summers from Jack From Brooklyn will provide the SOREL for one of our cocktails and share a bit of history of this special Caribbean aphrodisiac elixir.
Michelle Buffardi, author of Great Balls of Cheese, will demo one of her new recipes and bring a couple others to taste. Michelle has previously worked at MarthaStewart.com, programming and writing crafts, holiday, and food content, and currently works at FoodNetwork.com and CookingChannelTV.com as a writer and editor.
Last but not least, Milk and Cookies Bakery will be providing special cookies specifically paired to our classic eggnog punch!
Four beverages and paired foods are included in the ticket price. Additional drinks are available - you can pre-purchase drink tokens with your ticket to get the discounted price (also available at the door). Tokens are good for this and all upcoming A-List Culinary Events at Jimmy's No. 43 through 2014.
Cancelation Policy: All guests must prepay in full prior to the event. If tickets are cancelled more than 72 hours prior to the event, a full credit, or full refund will be issued. If cancelled 72 hours or less in advance of start time no refunds will be issued, however we will issue a credit of 75% of the ticket price toward a future class.
