"The day after SHEL's hometown show at Aggie Theatre, I'm performing at Magnolia Music Studio! I'll play some pieces from my recently released EP, Late Bloomer! And a few songs from my 2012/2013 catalogue including When The Sky Fell - which was featured on ABC Family's hit show, The Fosters.

About Hannah Holbrook- LATE BLOOMER
Hannah always wanted to be a pianist. The type that would perform in concert halls in New York Citydressed in a long, dark shimmering gownand go out for martinis with important people afterward. She started playing jazz piano when she was 10, moved into classical studies and composition through high school and college, and spent every spare minute outside of school writing, arranging songs and performing with her sisters as SHEL.
"I eventually dropped out of school and hit the road with the band."
Hannah didn't look back or think about the classical world again until the subject of an instrumental EP came up.
"Much of the inspiration for this project has come from my experiences over the past five years. The time spent trying to fit in at school, the relationships that didn't work out because none of us understood love, the transition into becoming a young professional, and most importantly - the moments with the people that really mattered: the friends and family who have loved and encouraged me no matter what. Five years ago, my younger self would have been chomping at the bit for a project like this. But I think I needed that time to experience life beyond my practice room."
Hannah has stumbled upon a world she couldn't have imagined at ten years of age, sitting down to her first piano lesson. Traveling the world with SHEL and releasing her ivory take on life when she's at a piano long enough to record it. "It's the best of both worlds for me. And this is how my past and future fit together as one, though I imagine life could look quite different even five years from now."
