Mary Grill Scary Thrill
The Peoples Improv Theater New York, NY
Growing up, Mary had trouble reading, and was strongly discouraged to ever watch TV... ever. She ended up playing with dolls for fourteen hours in a row, floating on sleds in retention ponds, and staring intensely at chandeliers wishing they were her earrings. Now she wears giant jewels everyday and writes comedy, somewhat about people in her life but mostly about the things that came into her head when she couldn't read or watch TV. Joe Schiappa directs.
