As the weather cools and the ground gets covered with snow and ice, we need to adjust some of our movement patterns. We switch to maintaining some of our dynamic moves and look to build our base of strength. Join me for 2 hours of primal strength movements, focusing on raw strength. You can lift a clean, balanced 300 lb barbell, but can you lift, carry and balance logs, stones and bags over ice? We will utilize MovNat principles, and the need to incorporate good posture and awareness. Test your mental toughness with difficult conditions. How well can you respond to lifting heavy, odd objects in the cold. Great focus is needed to accomplish such tasks. Participants will 1. Focus on heavy strength moves 2. Lifting, carrying and shouldering logs and stones 3. Cooperative lifting of logs 4. Learn how to adjust movement with weather 5. Learn how to program for strength and power in nature 6. Test mental toughness and focus
Take the cue from mother nature to slow down and build strength.
