David Fuks has been CEO of Cedar Sinai Park  which provides services to elders and adults  for the past 16 years. In an earlier life he performed as a standup comedian and was a member of an improvisational comedy group, Waggie and Friends." In his ample spare time David writes short fiction, some of which has been published and most of which sits waiting for his descendants to recycle.

Betsy Kauffman came to stand-up comedy from sit-down tedium (as a news anchor). A founding member of "Spilt Milk," which features women who can't quite control the remote or understand their kids, she draws from experience as a wife and mother as well as her delight in being "the last Jew to break into show biz." Betsy regularly opens at Harvey's Comedy Club and has performed in the All Jane No Dick comedy festival.

Joanie Quinn turns domestic chaos into well-timed hilarity. A Hollywood refugee, she credits years of casting game shows and scripting sitcoms and movies with giving her the perseverance and humor  it takes to get through parenting. Now she's the kid in the family. "I swore I wouldn't care about a clean floor the way my mother did," Joanie says, "and with the help of my four children I've reached that goal."

Nikki Schulak admits to "a knack for bending truth to meet my needs" a capacity that can also make people laugh. A trained educator who lists "competitive parallel parking and drawing good conclusions" as her top two skills, she has tried all 12 forms of hair removal, stands for ethical treatment of animals but loves a juicy burger, believes dirty laundry is a form of dissent and markets a comic cologne called "You Smell Funny."

Wendy Westerwelle, a Portland theatre icon — "Angry Housewives" ran two years at the Storefront —  has done stand-up in Las Vegas and Los Angeles, performed her one-woman show, "Soph: A Visit With The Last of The Red Hot Mamas" to sold-out houses in Portland and Beverly Hills, and done many commercials and several feature films, notably "Zero Effect" with Ben Stiller. Her newest one-woman show, "Medicare-Fully Fabulous," opens in February at the Triangle Theater.
