Diasporic Vietnamese Artists Network (DVAN) Holiday Fundraiser
Join us for our 5th annual Holiday Fundraiser as we celebrate, "Crossing Borders: New Publications in the Southeast Asian Diaspora" on Saturday December 14th at Andrew Lam's Infinity Complex. This year, we are proud to introduce two new books. The first, Birds of Paradise Lost by acclaimed writer, Andrew Lam, is his first work of fiction and "a love song song to San Francisco". The second, Troubling Borders: An Anthology of Art and Literature by Southeast Asian Women in the Diaspora, is our very own groundbreaking project edited by Isabelle Thuy Pelaud, Lan Duong, Mariam B. Lam and Kathy L. Nguyen.
This year's Holiday Fundraiser will feature book readings by writers Andrew Lam, Aimee Phan and Karen Llagas as well as appetizers from the finest local restaurants, live musical performances by local artists and very special door prizes.
