The Oakland Magic Circle Presents an Evening Of Magic, Wonder and Great Food!

Founded in 1925, the Oakland Magic Circle is one the largest and oldest groups of magicians in the country. Come join us for our 84th Annual Installation Banquet & Gala Show--An evening of magical entertainment and a fabulous dinner, with your choice of Baked chicken breast, Tri-tips of beef or Salmon.
This year we are very proud to feature the award-winning Stoil & Ekaterina! This charming European couple has entertained audiences around the world with their fast-paced, high-energy show, complete with stunning visual and magic effects and instant costume changes. They are regular performers at the famed Magic Castle in Hollywood and have performed on cruise ships, in hotels and on television.
You'll also see the zany, comedic antics of Frank Olivier--master magician, juggler and unicyclist. He's performed on Broadway and on the Johnny Carson Show. The New York Times called him "Wickedly funny", and KGO Radio said "He's an energetic, multi-talented masterful comedy performer".
The winner of our 2008 InterClub Competition was Jonathan Steigman, another Magic Castle regular, and he'll be performing his stage act for the enjoyment of all. He's performed all over the country, and for many celebrities including Michael Landon, Nell Carter, Jeff Altman, and Sharon Gless.
Plus a special guest who you won't want to miss!
The Master of Ceremonies is Scott Alcalay, who's performed at several county and state fairs and corporate events.
This will be an evening you'll always remember. It's sure to be one of the greatest shows we've produced in our 84 years. And it's appropriate for all ages.
The doors open at 6:30pm. Strolling close-up magicians will entertain you until dinner starts at 7pm. The show starts at 8pm and will end at about 9:30pm.
TICKETS:
If you plan on attending for the dinner and the show, then you MUST buy your tickets in advance. We will not be selling these tickets at the door. The prices are $25 for adults and $20 for children (12 & under).
We will be selling show-only tickets for $20 at the door. These tickets are for all ages, do not include a meal, and you MUST arrive 7:30pm-8pm.
Note: If you're ordering more than one ticket, then PLEASE make sure that everyone in your group arrives together.
Sound or video recording is not allowed, unless you have permission in advance from the performer(s).
