Fundraiser and Food-drive for the Greater Lansing Food Bank
Sunday, November 24, 2 pm to 11 pm
For the tenth year in a row the Capital Area Blues Society and the Green Door Blues Bar & Grill are joining forces for an annual fundraising bash to benefit the Greater Lansing Food Bank. Musicians and volunteers from the Capital area and beyond are charitably contributing their time and talent for this very special event.
Doors open at 2 pm with musical performances from 3-11 pm as follows:
3-3:45 pm - Hatchet Man and The Frog
4-5:15 pm - Lansing Blues All-Stars
5:30-6:45 pm - Zydecrunch
7-8:15 pm - Gee Daddy's BIG Blues Revue, featuring Martila Sanders
8:30-9:45 pm - Col. Sanders and the Pronkwonk Twins
10-11 pm - Those Delta Rhythm Kings

Breaking Bread with the Blues began in 2004 as a fundraiser for the Capital Area Blues Society. However it soon became evident the event could also be used to help the local community by supporting the food bank. More people than ever will be turning to the Greater Lansing Food Bank for help as a result of recent cuts to the Michigan Food Assistance Program.
Admission is $10 at the door or in advance via Brown Paper Tickets, plus a food item, but attendees are encouraged to charitably contribute as many non-perishable food items as they can. Families are welcome and children (under age 16) with an adult are admitted free with charitable contribution of a food item.
