BRIGHT COLORS AND BOLD PATTERNS by Drew Droege
Extended Yet Again! TWO MORE DATES DATES ADDED: March 13th & 20th at 8:00pm.
Based on one of the first invitations to a gay wedding in Palm Springs he received last year with the request, "Please refrain from wearing Bright Colors and Bold Patterns", Drew Droege plays Gerry, a charming, over-opinionated, completely loving, mildly overbearing character busted out his mind on coke, trying make sense of gay marriage. A gay man himself, he's not in favor of gays marrying for fear that he doesn't want to end up like the boring suburb bound stereotype he's been fighting against his whole life. It's hilarious, heartbreaking and surprisingly has some really important and surprising things to say about gay marriage.
Written and performed by Drew Droege and directed by Molly Prather. "Bright Colors and Bold Patterns" is presented by The Solo Collective and VS. Theatre.
