Ryan's Light Music Night Fundraiser
Come join us at the beautiful and prestigious Hawaii Yacht Club for an event you won't forget. Ryan's Light 2nd annual music fundraiser with live performaces by multiple Na Hoku Hanohano Award winner, grammy winner and one of the most talented artists that has ever come from Hawaii John Cruz! Plus, Henry Kapono, Henry is an award winning and Grammy nominated singer/songwriter. He has taken home numerous Na Hoku Hano Hano Awards (Hawaii's equivalent of the Grammy's) including Male Vocalist of the Year, Song of the Year, Single of the Year, and Album of the Year. Plus 2011, Na Hoku Hanohano Award winner, traveling singer songwriter and award winning producer from Honolulu,Kamuela Kahoano. Also The very talented Sweet Corn & Peanut, their music will give every type of listener something to love and last but not least, The fabulous band Simplisity who have been performing together in Hawaii for 30+ years.
Also hear solo ukulele performances by Kimo Hussey and Jay Koseki, a special Hawaiian Christmas children's performance by the children of Aina Haina elementry School Chorus and a young sibling duo in their first live performance together, Jacob and Cameron Wagner.
Pumehana Davis, Hawaii's most requested harpist will welcome guest from 3 to 4pm during the comlimentary champagne hour. Then at 4pm the children of aina haina perform. 4:15pm Jacob and Cameron perform Hey Jude. 4:30 Jay Koseki followed by Kimo Hussey. 5pm Simplisity 6pm Sweet Corn and Peanut, 7PM Kamuela Kahoano, 8pm John Cruz
All proceeds to benefit ryanslight.org a non profit organization founded in memory of our son Ryan Wagner who passed away on July 29th 2011 at the age of 6 to Non Hodgkins lymphoma. Ryan's light foundation's mission is to provide music therapy and musical instruments to pediatric oncolgy patients in Hawaii.
Non members of the yacht club need only to purchase a ticket to the event to gain entry to the yacht club on December 22nd. This is a show you wont want to miss out on. There will be a silent auction as well as a 50/50 raffle.
The Hawaii Yacht Club is one of the most picturesqe venues in Honolulu,among the best views on the south coast of Oahu with two lanais to enjoy a cocktail on, as well as an upstaris and downstairs bar. Plenty of open air seating and indoor seating as well,the Hawaii Yacht club is the true "Gathering Place." Come enjoy the show and dine with us as the sun sets over the harbor while enjoying live music in a tranquil setting.
