Celestial Voices - Saturday in Paso Robles
Girls and boys from the Central Coast will perform "Celestial Voices" on Saturday, December 14th at 3:00pm at Trinity Lutheran Church in Paso Robles. Tickets range in price from $10 - $18. This show is recommended for children over the age of five.
Featuring favorite selections from its 20 years of programs, the five levels of choirs for children ages 7-18 will perform carols from various countries sung in French, Spanish, Hebrew and even Greek! Styles to please every palate include classical, calypso, spirituals, and contemporary, all delivered by smiling and sincere singers from the SLO community.
Familiar tunes include "Silent Night", "In Dulci Jubilo", and "Jingle Bell Rock", and texts by poets such as Henry Wadsworth Longfellow and Robert Frost. To prepare our singers for their international choir festival trip to England in the summer of 2014, British composers John Rutter and Benjamin Britten are featured.
