2014 An Evening of One Acts
T&C stages an evening of One-Acts each season to give its fledgling directors an opportunity to show their stuff and qualify to direct one of our mainstage productions. Come out to see our new directors-in-the-making and enjoy a very entertaining night at the Barn.

Here are this year's one-acts:

"Detective Sketches (Trouble is Eating my Pants)" by Douglas Post and directed by Bob De Marco, is a spoof on the film noir genre.  Think private eye and femme fatale.  Featuring performances by:  Steve Niles, Cassandra Cain, Amanda Weikel, Bill Hoblin, Jim Palmer, Barney Stone, Trevor DuBose

"Blind Date, Inc". by Gerald P. Murphy and directed by Sheldon Bruce Zeff, focuses on eight separate blind dates with each getting more gregarious as the play progresses.  Featuring performances by:  Roseann Enwright, Kate Fishman, Scott Fishman, Vince Rostkowski

"Personal Effects" by John McNamara and directed by Sharon Rill-Soester, is a coming-of-age comedy centered on the wishful thinking of a young man.  Featuring performances by:  Trevor DuBose, Amanda Weikel, Cassandra Cain, Ben McLaughlin, Billy Ambrose

"Bye Bye Brevoort" by Eudora Weltly and directed by Jesse Roy is about the power of denial.  This farce shows how everyday tea time rituals can keep the characters in this play from seeing their world being literally torn down around them.  Featuring performances by Jean Laustsen, Joan Kerber, Jo Page, Dave Keller, Sandie Rollins, Matthew Thompson, Tim Richardson, and Trevor DuBose
