Amit Peled, cello
Occidental Community Church Occidental, CA
Join us in welcoming back an old friend of the Redwood Arts Council in an evening filled with the artistry of this amazing performer, who has been compared to a young Rostropovich. Israeli cellist, Amit Peled is a player of exceptional talent and penetrating musicianship. He is one of the most gifted cellists of his generation Bernard Greenhouse. He is unreservedly immersed in his playing, creating a visually exciting performance with a rich sound that pours out of his rare Andrea Guarneri Cello, ca. 1689. His first sold out performance with the RAC of the Rachmaninoff Cello Sonata brought the Occidental audience immediately to their feet.
Note: Infants and small children not admitted. Doors open at 7:30pm. Student tickets $10 with ID, available by calling and reserving will call or at the door if not sold out.
