Hochstein Performance Hall
Rochester, NY

Bring your whole family and celebrate Mothers Day and the City of Rochester's 175th Anniversary Year at the 2009 Lilac Festival with the Rochester Chamber Orchestra and the Bach Childrens Chorus.

Everyone will enjoy Rochester Philharmonic concertmaster Juliana Athayde and oboist Erik Behr in J.S. Bachs double Concerto for Violin and Oboe.  The Bach Childrens Chorus will present music by Schubert, Strauss, Fetler, and selections celebrating the City of Rochester's 175th Anniversary.

Juliana Athayde was appointed concertmaster of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra in March 2005 and made her RPO debut in April 2006.

Erik Behr holds the principal oboe position with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra.
