The Last Pam's Jam: Movin' Fête
We Ready Fah De ROOOOOOOOOOOOAD!
As many of you may know, there is a unique and quite famous Trinidadian restaurant located in the U-District of Seattle that has been hosting a series of monthly late night parties since their grand opening 7 years ago. "Pam's Jam" started in 2006 as a promotional stunt to bring together the Northwest Caribbean community & invite locals to experience their culture. Pam's Kitchen grew to be the longest standing business on the corner of 50th and University Way, but now due to the buildings demolition plans, Pam's Kitchen is forced to relocate.
This move can only mean one thing, get ready for THE LAST PAM'S JAM! In the spirit of this vibrant caribbean culture with a splash of Afro-Latin flavor, their MOVIN' FÊTE will host a serious mash-up of new & old Soca, Calypso, Reggae, Dancehall, AfroBeat, & Reggaeton provided by the Kitchen's resident DJ, dj.kuhnex, along side special local guests. Pam herself will be cookin' up some of her most famous tasty Trinidadian dishes & drinks throughout the night.
All proceeds from this event will help her relocate to the new restaurant. For the first time ever, pre-sale tickets are available and highly encouraged. This event is expected to max capacity due to its longtime recognition in the Northwest Caribbean community.
