A Celebration of Italian Music spanning the ages on my 13 year anniversary of singing where I started on India Street in Little Italy at The Convivio Society for Italian Heritage.


I have been a part of the Little Italy community for almost 20 years, since the first time my Nina Tina took me into "Mimmos Italian Village," and I fell in love with the local culture of India Street. It is on this street I played soccer when there were no cars going by on a Saturday, it is on this street I drank my first cappuccino and around the corner where I went to church, and it was on this street I learned how to sing and became a singer. It was because of this street I learned Italian, only to find out after speaking it fluently that everyone was speaking Sicilian (which makes me laugh to this day); and it was also on this lovely street that I have made my home next to the people that throughout the years have been so dear to me. Recently an acquaintance of mine, Tom Cesarini opened a fabulous non-profit performance center called The Convivio Society in order to conserve the local Italian culture and promote the arts in Little Italy on my beloved India street. I was elated to find out that there was such a place and decided to perform a tribute to India Street, my favorite place in San Diego and my neighborhood!

I hope you can join me on November 9th as I celebrate the anniversary of 13 years of being a singer on the street where I became one!

I will be singing a collection of Italian Music, from Aria's to Italian Hot Club, Jazz, Pop and Bel Canto. The songs of Mina, Pavarotti Mondugno etc....After All I started out as an Opera singer in Little Italy.
