JiJi Lee (30mins STORYTELLING) / Meg Griffiths Anderson (30mins SOLOSHOW)
What the heck is SOLOCOM? It is a celebration of the many hilarious performers who have decided to let themselves and themselves alone speak for their work. A celebration of solo sketch artists, storytellers, stand ups and more. A celebration of those brave souls who take the stage by themselves to make their audiences laugh. Best of all all of this material will be premiering for the first time. Every show will be brand new.
Brand new!? Yes, we are going to try to make this the biggest celebration of new solo work that NYC has to offer. We ask that your material be at least 50% brand new. (We won't be crazy checking to make sure it is, but your conscious will be so guilty if it isn't.)
How long are the shows? 15-60 minutes. You are creative. We will be creative making sure shows of most lengths will have a spot to shine.
When the heck is SOLOCOM? We've blocked out two days in November, the 9th and 10th.
Where the heck is it? Did you miss it above? It's at The PIT. 123 East 24th St. Between Park and Lexington Avenues. Super close to the subways, the buses and every cabbie knows how to get here.
