FAITH by Nathaniel Wright, Directed by Brandon Hayes
EXTENDED THROUGH JANUARY 11
Sandhill Theatre Company announces the Chicago premiere of FAITH by Nathaniel Wright, a darkly comic, semi-autobiographical look at the conflicts and turmoil of a family holiday. Forced together under the same roof, six Midwesterners of starkly different faiths, races, classes and sexual orientations are forced to confront the secrets and lies that bind families together and threaten to tear them apart.
Visit the Evangelical Armstrong family on a Middle-American Christmas Eve: Faith Armstrong, devoted wife, mother and homemaker; Dr. John Armstrong, loving husband with a dirty secret; Jedediah Armstrong, their gay son. Then meet their guests: Faith's Roman Catholic mother, Jed's African-American boyfriend, his mother, and the dead mailman.
