Description
Whatever you're celebrating, join us for another incredible Slow Food Holiday Dinner.  This year we'll  be together at When in Rome...voted Best Restaurant in North County.

When In Rome first opened its doors in 1984 in Leucadia and before long it was voted best restaurant in North County.  Giuseppe and Rosemary Ragone's menu evokes old world tradition and uncompromising attention to detail. The freshest ingredients from local purveyors are used in her traditional recipes. To guarantee old country flavor, they grow their own vegetables, make fresh pasta every day, and never freeze their homemade sauces. When In Rome has won many awards for best Italian cuisine, atmosphere and recognition from local chefs.

The menu was created especially for this event by award-winning Chefs/Owners Joe and Rosemary Ragone in collaboration with Chef Gordon Smith,  Slow Food San Diego founder and Slow Food USA Governor of Southern California. Food will be sourced from San Diego Kelp Bed products, San Pasqual Academy, other local purveyors and Heritage Foods USA.  An added bonus is a holiday sing-along with renowned Tenor, Daniel Hendrick.
