Boathouse & Co presents LandEscape
The Garage San Francisco, CA
LandEscape tackles disturbing environmental trends with a mix of humor and horror. The first act features Vaudeville-like skits, including a defense of corn by a character named Ma Zola, a queen bee rapping about her missing entourage, and a free-range chicken reel set to live concertina and cello. The second act examines the shadow side of the separation between humans and nature, with scenes taking place behind a backlit screen. The show features the usual Boathouse hybrid of theater, dance, and music, with sets & props.
