MATT OTTO GROUP

The Jazz Bakery
Los Angeles, CA

Orginal Compositions Written by Matt Otto and dedicated to the Paris Commune of 1871.
The Paris Commune was the first working class revolution in history. The workers of Paris seized and controlled the city for 72 days, setting up workers' cooperatives, distributing food and necessities, running the entire city in their interest, free of any profit motive, while simultaneously holding the Prussian and French Armys at bay. It is often referred to as the biggest urban insurrection of the nineteenth century, and the best example of the working class emancipating itself from the binds of Capitalism.
